One can make a Difference.... Many can make a Change Volunteer Starkville is dedicated to connecting
people with opportunities to serve that promotes volunteerism. We create
opportunities within the Starkville Metro Area and Oktibbeha County to improve
the quality of life through volunteerism and service to promote community
development. Our core service is matching willing individuals and groups to
agencies and institutions that need help with volunteer opportunities through
Volunteer Solutions, a community based website.
Volunteer Starkville is expanding its opportunities for
volunteerism through partnership with Maroon Volunteer and the Starkville Youth
to better serve the common good of the community of Starkville and
Oktibbeha County by sharing our resources as it relates to community service.
 | iHeartStarkville City-Wide Community Service Project February 14 - April 5, 2012 You can win $250 - $1000 donation for your organization.  Volunteer Starkville is hosting for the first time, "iHeartStarkville Day" in partnership with Maroon Volunteer Center and Mayor's Youth Council. This community event focuses on the giving back to the community and showing your love for Starkville. Our local business sponsors have been very supportive in providing door prizes including t-shirts, gift cards, passes for MSU games and more to giveaway to the community. We will have entertainment, food, and a Kid's Corner featuring “Bully.” Join us in this effort in showing your “Love 4 Starkville” by completing a community service project of choice or just participate in current projects that will benefit and improve the Starkville community.Starting Tuesday, February 14th until Friday, April 6th Volunteer Starkville will host a competition among individuals, community organizations, and schools within the city of Starkville and Oktibbeha County. Projects for the competition may include street clean-ups, beautification projects, projects inspiring children, working with the elderly, military, and animals.
