Volunteer Newsletter: December 5, 2017

Looking to give back this holiday season? Come help us for the Home Fire Campaign! There are also a number of ways to give back this season. Explore the opportunities in our 2017 Guide to Holiday Giving.

Home Fire Campaign
Volunteer Starkville, Oktibbeha County Fire, and American Red Cross of North Mississippi will join together to install free smoke alarms in residential homes, review evacuation plans, discuss safety practices for tornadoes and fires, and give printed materials. Volunteers will help firefighters and Red Cross team members with the campaign in the following areas: Sunset, Rockhill, 16th Section, and 5th District. We will meet at 9 at the Fire Station Park on Dec. 16th. Volunteers will arrive at the homes that have signed-up on December 16, 2017 between the hours of 9:30AM – 1:00 PM.
