Volunteer Newsletter: November 14, 2017

Family Volunteer Day is a day of service that demonstrates and celebrates the power of families who volunteer together, supporting their neighborhoods, communities and the world. Volunteer Starkville will celebrate this day of service on Saturday, November 18, 2017 by partnering with the Society of St. Andrew for a family friendly volunteer opportunity. Sweet Potato Drop ~ Saturday, November 18th ~ 9:00 AM – 12 PM
Join Volunteer Starkville and the Maroon Volunteer Center for Family Volunteer Day and volunteer at our Sweet Potato Drop on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the MSU Commuter West Parking Lot (next to the Green Houses behind Dorman Hall) near the intersection of Stone and Bully Boulevards on Mississippi State University’s campus from 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM or until we finish. 100 volunteers are needed to bag sweet potatoes that will be distributed to local food pantries in the Starkville/Oktibbeha County, West Point/Clay County & Louisville/Winston County communities!
• This is a great volunteer opportunity for families, individuals and small/large groups of all ages!
