Halloween isn’t just about hauntings. It can be about helping! It is great time to make sure everyone has a safe and happy Halloween! Volunteer with Starkville Parks & Recreations for their upcoming Halloween events below:

Hail-Oween Festival: Volunteer now at Starkville Parks & Recreations Halloween Festival on October 28 at the J.L. King Center from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM! Volunteers are needed for set up/take down, monitoring the bouncy house, manning activity tables, and leading the video game trailer! To volunteer, contact Gerry Logan at or (662) 323-2294.

Hail-Oween Trunk or Treat: The Starkville Parks & Recreation will be hosting a trunk or treat and egg hunt on October 30 event for all to enjoy! The event will be at the Starkville Sportsplex from 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM! There will be candy booths, bounce houses, a haunted egghunt, and other activities. Volunteers are needed to assist with each one of the activities occurring. To volunteer, contact Gerry Logan at or (662) 323-2294.
