Volunteers Needed: Grassroots Animal Rescue – Animal Fosters

When you foster, you agree to take a homeless animal into your home and give him or her love, care and attention until the animal is adopted.

The Grassroots Animal Rescue organization does not have a physical shelter and depends on foster homes to care for animals until FUREVER homes are found. The number of animals they can help depends on how many foster families they have, so please consider opening your heart and your home to temporarily foster.

Fosters are asked to cover the basic necessities (food, water, toys, litter), and most importantly lots of TLC. If finances are tight, Grassroots Animal Rescue can assist with the essentials. The foster animals will be placed on the GAR website, Petfinder, and Facebook. It is the responsibility of GAR to approve applications for adoptive homes before placing animals in permanent, loving homes. But foster parents are inquired how comfortable they feel in the adoption of their foster animals.
